Ahhh, yearbook day. That wonderful day when all of the people you sort of know but not enough to have bothered learning their name profess their love for you by writing it all over a book. There are some memorable ones. Observe:

See you, probably over the summer.

Quoted from a Christian gay hating person:
You are an alright guy I guess. Since I am a man I will not say that you are sweet or anything b/c that is wrong.

I only got my yearbook signed by like fifteen people or so because I didn't feel like bringing it back to school since it weighs a lot. Also not like I have that many more friends, and I don't really care to get signatures from people I don't know well, because they're just bullshit anyway.

I didn't buy a yearbook because it's a big fucking waste of money.

If I had though, I'd have a million pointless signatures.

I agree completely. I'm not sure if I expressed my opinions in my thread a while back about yearbooks, but it's mostly just pictures of all of the yearbook people and their friends.

The only reason I get one is because my parents are willing to pay for it.

I never buy year books, till the last year, because you wouldn't give a shit about the seniors, would you? In middle school, they make it so that the 8th graders (the final grade in middle school) have colored pictures, while everyone else is black and white.. If they are the spot light of the book, what's the point of buying it?

My mom bought my yearbook. I didn't even know if I was getting one until today, she didn't tell me that she had bought it, or I forgot.

If my parents we going to spend the money on a yearbook, I'd ask them not to buy and just give me the money instead.

I'd end up losing the yearbook anyway.

$20?

The yearbook at my school is $65.

Sixty five dollars.

That's more money than I make a year from working.

$20 isn't a lot. My HS yearbooks cost around $40-50 each. It kept winning national awards. I didn't think it was so great until I saw some other ones. Wow, some yearbooks are really bad.

My college's is about on the level of my grade school's. I mean, photo pages cut and pasted with scissors and glue?

(Yes, and then photocopied. Still, it looks bad.)

My high school yearbook sucks so bad. I spent about three seconds looking through it. The signatures are all that really matter, anyway.

Yeah, I haven't even read most of the stuff in my yearbook.

Ours were $52. I'd never pay that much out of my pocket for one.

Our yearbooks are included in tuition costs, but tuition is around $10,000.

Better be one hell of a yearbook.

Ours is NZ$10. Less than US$5. But it's paperpack, about fifty pages and an all-round pile of shit. It's not really a yearbook, even, just a book they make every year with yearly shit in it.

Well I go to college for free, so my respected prep school sort of accounts for that.

Plus, Christian Brothers are greedy assholes.

i got year books because my parents paid for them. i got like 3 signatures a year at most, and those are pretty much just a few people i hung out with in class and never saw again after that class. senior year i actually got some signatures, even though i only hung out with 1 person in school because my other friend got expelled twice.

I get my year book next week. Until then, you can find my old OD yearbook quotes thread in which I use the full names of my classmates.
