Quoted from ThePerfectCore: This place is like a club that used to have a strict "no smoking" policy but then it turned into "smoking on the patio only" but now everyone smokes everywhere and the the no smoking signs have become like these ironic heirlooms that are passed from manager to manager
... see, the story of this club/bar is pretty swank. It started out having all the custom fixings that the one up-the-street didn't have. That one went corporate, and fuck that big-time cheap outdated bullshit - People wanted new shit before it was cool. The first manager was a bit of a hard-ass; in those initial years he'd close it down just because... and, well, when he went off for military duty his bartendress babe ruled this place with an iron fist. Cliques everywhere. And the staff kept a close eye to kick out any drunks or kids at even the most basic sign of "misbehavior."
Over the years it fell to the wayside as newer joints opened up around town. The babe ran off with the comic relief regular, and the manager passed the keys off to pursue other ventures. Enter the three new managers: a ginger soldier with new powers, Guy Fieri, and a woman (secretly a man) able to pull off the disguise so well he was outed close to a dozen times by promiscuous patrons. Eventually this once up-and-coming club became your typical dive, headed by your casually angry Texan: with an adult-only area and arcade that became the place's busiest corner, a secret cabal of regulars impenetrable to break into, and a slew of downtrodden characters with storied histories: the divorced dads, the ones with three or more kids, the ex-mormons, the Greeks, the creepy young couple, and the right-winger sitting alone at his own table. The place was primed to remain the community home of these folks; a place where everyone knows your name and then some. Unceasing in its former glory; cigarette butts found rotting across the floor.
