I was told the new dragon age is really top notch.

Yeah, I'm so behind with popular games. I just started playing Dragon Age: Origins.

Done with Legend of Zelda. Don't have much else to say about it. Decided not to play the second quest as it seems like more of the same.

Played God of War III. It actually does some interesting things, despite some equally poorly thought out decisions. (POV change at the end, obligatory sex minigame, voiceover in parts, every Athena cutscene, Nearly the whole ending...) Structurally and tonally, God of War III is like a different world than the first game, so the games don't really work as a trilogy. Now playing God of War: Ghost of Sparta; shouldn't take long. Still haven't finished Killzone Liberation.

Quoted from Zippo:
Yes! That is a great feature. I don't have a -ton- of games for it but the list: Hyrule Warriors, Pikmin, Zelda Wind Waker, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Monster Hunter (super fun), Scribblenauts (adorable and fun and educational!), Mario Kart. I bought a Zumba game, too, because why not, and I got it on sale. I also still have my regular Wii games because backwards compatibility is pretty cool (fuck you, Microsoft).

I loved Scribblenauts. I also played Pikmin and enjoyed it, but it didn't take off for me.

I do LOOOOOVE Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and Rayman Legends though. Rayman Legends is available across systems though. For a time, my husband and I were ranked #1 in the US in stats on it. It was a tiny bit sad.

Aside from WiiU games, I've been replaying Child of Light on PS3. I also play LIMBO through on PS3 every month or so -- still trying to get the stupid "die fewer than five times" trophy. I actually even ran some testing on some students re: LIMBO and wrote a whole thing about it a few months ago. Still play it.

Playing through Lego Batman 3 right now too.

Either Zelda II (NES) or Kirby's Dreamland 3 (SNES) depending on my mood. Probably won't be for a week or two, though.

I just did recently, actually. I've been in the mood to give Majora's Mask another go, since I have access to my N64 again.

I ended up deciding that instead of Majora's Mask, I'd play Chrono Trigger. I haven't played this game in ages, I forgot how wonderful the music and story was.

Anyone ever play Prison Architect? Its on the steam sale and looks amusing.

I just finished Shelter which is essentially a mother badger simulator. Interesting concept and a very artistic design. Its short and so doesn't overstay its welcome and when it does end you get a powerful lesson in what it means to be a parent. I liked it. My only real complaint is that the color contrast takes away from what should be a visually stunning experience.

Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
