Quoted from anaemic_royalty: I smoke but i don't really enjoy it.
I just do it to pass the time at night, mostly.
And when i'm walking somewhere.
I've been smoking maybe like 5-7 cigarettes daily on average for about 2 years.
I don't feel any signs of addiction at all, either, which is a bit strange.
It's like it doesn't have the normal effects OR the normal physichal addictiveness to me.
I think this is the case with some other drugs too.
Maybe my body chemistry isn't normal or something.
Edit: So i'm stuck inbetween the first and second option.
I guess I'm exactly the same, allthough I've been smoking a while longer. I smoke around a pack every two days (around 6 a day including a few I'll bum off my mates) but I don't feel *that* addicted either.
If I'm sitting at school with a pack of cigarettes in my pocket, then I get cravings - but I haven't got any, then not having a cigarette in a while doesn't bother me, and I feel nothing.
Quoted from Nickolati: Those that do smoke on a regular basis, when did you start?
What were the reasons that made you start smoking?
Those that have and quit, how much of a dramatic change did it have on your life? (I.E. stairs and fast paced movement)
1) 4 years ago.
2) I started after a science lesson where I was told that smoking was something that killed millions of people per year, slowly and painfully, with no "positives." I thought that seemed wrong, as I wondered why people would choose to kill themselves in such a way for nothing? So yeah, I decided to find out for myself ...
