So far so good with the INTL Film Festival. The last two months (July, August) have gone rather well, so this month, I'm going to go with a theme suggested by Fisher, which is a war movie theme. I've chosen five movies which fit the war movie theme and are all critically acclaimed. They are listed below.
However, before I list this months movies, allow me to outline some rules:
The Terms of Service and the general rules of Inside Discussions still apply in this thread. Act like a moron and you'll be treated like a moron.
The intention of this film festival is to expose people to great movies and stimulate discussion and forum cohesion through the discussion of the films featured.
You may at any time suggest a movie (or a theme) for the following month; however, failure to participate in the film discussions will immediately put your suggestion in the back of the line.
If you are having trouble finding a movie, do not make a request in this thread for someone to post a bootleg or illegal copy of the film, this will result in you being banned for an indetermined amount of time.
I have included several links to other various sites that feature reviews, discussions, and spoilers pertaining to the film. Feel free to utilize those links to help stimulate the discussions here. Do not plagerize, however.
I have also included a direct link to Amazon.com's listing for each film. If you enjoyed the film, please make use of this feature and purchase a copy of the film; by doing so you are both supporting those involved in creating the film and also INTL through the commission that is generated.
And with that, here are the movies for this month:
